BOSE: DREAM + REACH

The story of Bose begins with the story of a boy fascinated by electronics — taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and dreaming of one day inventing his own. This massive omnichannel campaign to mark the company’s 50th anniversary was anchored by a 22-minute interactive film directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (“Roadrunner,” “20 Feet From Stardom”). The project’s title comes from a quote by Dr. Amar Bose (who that boy fascinated by electronics grew up to become): “Always dream of things that are better and think about ways to reach those things.”

The campaign consisted of a dedicated microsite that hosted the 22-minute short film, plus ten additional 3-minute chapters that branched off from the main story along with dozens of pages of interactive content. Also social media to share bite-size content and promote the full experience, and a limited-edition coffee table book.

My contributions included content strategy, creative direction, concepting, copywriting, screenwriting, video production, editorial content, and UX writing.
